BE FAIR TO ANIMALS!<\/h2>

With \u201cFair zum Tier!\u201d, we are committed to higher animal welfare standards and greater transparency in conventional livestock farming, as this sector still accounts for the majority of common farming practices. Austria has strict animal welfare laws that define the requirements for species-appropriate care of farm animals. The \u201cFair zum Tier!\u201d program certifies higher animal welfare standards in conventional livestock farming that exceed legal requirements.
\n\u201cFair zum Tier!\u201d is an animal welfare program of the REWE GROUP in Austria; certified by AgroVet; audits are conducted at least once a year, along with random farm and product inspections. ARGE GMO-Free<\/h2>

The REWE GROUP in Austria is a co-founder and holds an honorary seat on the ARGE board; the Working Group for GMO-Free Food is an independent platform. It awards the \u201cProduced Without Genetic Engineering\u201d certification mark. <\/p>\n

The ARGE brings together food retailers, bottlers, packaging manufacturers, and collection and recycling systems. It supports its members\u2014particularly through workshops\u2014in implementing reduction measures. <\/p>\n<\/div>
