Shopping almost contactless with the BIPA shopping list

Many purchases have shifted to the internet since the beginning of the Corona crisis, because contactless shopping is possible there. However, this option is not available to all people - such as many older people without internet access.

To offer these customers an almost contactless shopping experience, BIPA has come up with a special service: the BIPA shopping list. You can either pick up this shopping list in a BIPA branch or download it from the following link: https://bit.ly/3kIqGCZ. Afterwards, you fill out the shopping list at home with the products you would like to buy, hand it in at the branch of your choice and the purchase can be picked up at the checkout at a time of your choice - at the earliest, however, after two hours - and paid for there.   

In addition to collecting the shopping list in person, it is also possible to order by telephone at the branch of your choice. You can find the telephone number of your preferred branch in the BIPA branch finder: https://www.bipa.at/filialen.This service is also ideal for all those who take care of neighbours, friends or family members who cannot go shopping: they call the branch or hand in the BIPA shopping list at the branch on their way to the office, for example, and pick up the shopping on their way home.   

"With the BIPA shopping slip, we are sending a clear signal that we are there for all our customers and want to support them in the best possible way during this difficult time," explains Thomas Lichtblau, spokesman at BIPA, adding: 

"This almost contactless shopping reduces personal contact to the bare minimum and saves time when you want to or when things are particularly hectic."
