BIPA supports hairdressing campaign for children of homeless families

There was great joy and children's laughter in the premises of the Viennese social institution Chancenhaus Obdach Favorita: children of homeless families who have just found a temporary home in the institution were invited to a hairdressing visit.

Hairdressers Patricia, Jasmin and Nela - who provided their skills free of charge - wielded combs, scissors and hairdryers and cut the hair of 28 children. Freshly styled and with shining eyes, the children received BIPA bags filled with BI LIFE vitamin bears and children's shampoos. All the other more than 50 children - who did not take part in the campaign - were also delighted with the BIPA gift packs. Of course, there were also goodies for the hairdressers, who were equipped with brushes, hair gels and hair accessories by BIPA.

"With the haircutting campaign, we want to offer children something that their families can't afford and that brings a little joy into their everyday lives."

"Our team at Chancenhaus supports families who come to us in overcoming personal crises, health and financial problems, and helps with things like finding accommodation, dealing with the authorities and applying for jobs. Especially for the youngest residents in the house, we want to make it possible for them to have as normal a childhood as possible. With the haircutting campaign, we want to offer children something that their families cannot afford and that brings a little joy into their everyday lives. The support of companies is indispensable in this and therefore a big thank you to BIPA for the generous donation," says Marianne Lämmel, Head of Communications and Donations, Obdach Wien. "The welfare of women and children is particularly close to our hearts and therefore it was a matter of course for us to support this campaign," said Claudia Baumschlager, BIPA Head of Marketing & Own Brands Strategy and Communication.
