PINK RIBBON 2021: BIPA reminds women of breast cancer prevention

Every year, the Austrian Cancer Aid calls for the PINK RIBBON campaign and for many years BIPA has supported this campaign, which draws attention to the importance of breast cancer screening.

During the Breast Cancer Month in October, numerous activities and events are on the programme of the Cancer Aid. BIPA sets an important sign with its own PINK RIBBON Edition: The natural bi good shower gel Lemon Balm, which presents itself in the Pink Ribbon outfit, has precise scanning instructions on the back of the packaging. BIPA donates part of the sales revenues to the Austrian Cancer Aid.

"The health of our customers is very important to us. That's why we try to implement measures in different ways - for example through the cooperation with the Austrian Cancer Aid - to remind women to take a good look at their bodies in order to detect possible diseases at an early stage," explains Claudia Baumschlager, BIPA Head of Marketing & Own Brands Strategy and Communication, adding: "And we reach this target group very well, because 90 percent of our customers are women and 98 percent of our employees are female."

"We try to remind women to take a good look at their bodies so that they can detect possible illnesses at an early stage."

"I take care of myself" - a call to all women.

Every case of breast cancer is one too many and that is why BIPA directs its appeal especially to young women to take care of themselves. You can do this - without much effort - quite simply in your daily shower. On the back of the Limited Edition bi good Lemon Balm shower gel, there are step-by-step instructions on how to do it: look, touch and feel. If changes or even pain are noticed, a doctor should be consulted. This self-check does not replace the necessary mammography.

"We are pleased to be a partner in the PINK RIBBON campaign again this year and hope that we can motivate as many women as possible to pay attention to their bodies and especially to their breasts. Together we bear responsibility for our health", Claudia Baumschlager concludes.
