The fresh Ja! Natürlich organic oat drink in the reusable glass bottle joins the existing Ja! Natürlich reusable range. Up to now, the Ja! Natürlich organic whole milk and organic light milk were already available in the aesthetic and sustainable reusable glass bottle, the reusable share in the Ja! Natürlich milk range now stands at around 27% with the new addition. "We are constantly working on even more green packaging in our range. And we are pleased to now offer the popular reusable glass bottle to all Ja! Natürlich organic oat drink lovers. Reusable glass bottles are the most ecological choice of packaging because they are refilled at least 15 times," explains Ja! Natürlich Head Klaudia Atzmüller on the occasion of the launch.
The contents are also good for the climate: Ja! Natürlich organic oat drink from Austria
But not only the packaging of the fresh Ja! Natürlich organic oat drink is sustainable. The organic oats used for the product come from organic cultivation in Lower Austria and Burgenland. "The product is therefore not only positive for the climate balance on the inside, but also on the outside," Ja! Natürlich Managing Director Klaudia Atzmüller. The demand for vegan "milk alternatives" is increasing; meanwhile, the alternatives already account for 17% of the Ja! Natürlich turnover in the "milk segment". The Ja! Natürlich organic oat drink can be used in many ways: as a refreshment for in-between meals, for preparing breakfast cereals or as a milk substitute in coffee. The oat drink is pasteurised at low temperature in the value-added bottle, then stored in the refrigerated section and can therefore be consumed within one month. The empty returnable glass bottles, which are subject to a 22 cent deposit, are collected daily in the branches. After a thorough cleaning, they are brought back to production for refilling.
