The welcome days in the provinces are all about getting to know the BILLA family. The apprentice and junior staff development team provides insights into the company, the various stages during the apprenticeship and the numerous training and further education opportunities. Fun and games will not be neglected either. In the afternoon, different challenges are on the programme, which the apprentices have to complete. A workshop on social media focuses on the correct use of social media and the opportunities but also the dangers on the net. At a photo station, the apprentices have the opportunity to take photos and share the resulting footage with the hashtag #nextbillageneration. The best snapshot will be chosen by the apprentice and young talent promotion team.

"I particularly liked the fact that we were able to ask a lot of questions and learn new things," says apprentice Miriam from Carinthia about her participation in the welcome day. Apprentice Annabelle, also from Carinthia, explains: "I became aware of the apprenticeship at BILLA through a friend. I really enjoy my apprenticeship. I am happy to be here."
