When her colleague suddenly collapsed while working in the market, Alina Amon, who completed first aid training in May of this year, didn't hesitate for a second. She immediately began chest compressions while her colleagues alerted the emergency services. Her correct and quick action until the arrival of the emergency services was decisive and saved the life of her colleague, who was taken to hospital by helicopter and is now on the road to recovery.

In recognition of her heroic efforts, Alina Amon was honored as part of an internal tribute by BILLA and received a voucher and a bulging gift basket. "This incident shows how important it is to react quickly in emergency situations. We are very proud of Ms. Amon, who proved in this critical situation that she is not only an outstanding manager, but also an excellent first aider," said Thomas Steingruber, BILLA Sales Director in Upper Austria.
