"TischleinCheckDich": BILLA creates awareness for regional foods

Raising awareness for food from Tyrol - that is the declared goal of "TischleinCheckDich", which already has a long-standing tradition as a cooperation project of Agrarmarketing Tirol and the provincial committee of the food trade of the Tyrolean Chamber of Commerce. In Innsbruck, three BILLA PLUS stores are participating in "TischleinCheckDich" in September and invite customers to win regional products with fun games.

Fun and games at BILLA PLUS

At the "TischleinCheckDich" game table, customers can put their skills to the test and win delicious products such as bacon, cheese or juices from Tyrolean producers. This year, three BILLA PLUS stores in Innsbruck will take part in the "TischleinCheckDich" campaign: in Olympiastraße (September 6), in Mitterweg (September 11) and in Siemensstraße (September 30). The task of the participants is to hit one of three categories with a game puck in order to win delicious instant prizes in the form of regional products.

Value creation remains in the region

Throughout Austria, BILLA and BILLA PLUS source the best local products from around 2,800 regional and local businesses. In the province of Tyrol, around 200 local producers supply the stores with their products. In order to strengthen these cooperations in the long term, the three BILLA PLUS stores in Innsbruck - after a successful premiere last year - are happy to participate in the "TischleinCheckDich" campaign again this year, as Pascal Pilsinger, store manager at BILLA PLUS on Mitterweg, explains: "By participating in 'TischleinCheckDich', we as food retailers want to draw attention to the important significance of regional quality. The marketing of local products brings great advantages: The added value stays in the region and the local products are of an incomparably high quality. Because nothing tastes as good as directly from home in Tyrol."
