Throughout December, they provide everything you need to shop for an atmospheric Advent and for the coming holidays and guarantee the best local quality at the Christmas table with their regional range - peppered with many homemade products. They also help their customers prepare for Christmas with deliveries to their doorstep or ready-made festive platters. The valuable work of the ADEG merchants creates a unique sense of community, which is particularly noticeable and tangible at Christmas time.
"Christmas is my favorite time"
This year's ADEG Christmas campaign gives a Christmassy insight into the life of self-employed ADEG saleswoman Bernadette Himmelbauer from Unterweißenbach (Freistadt district). The campaign film shows how delicious local delicacies from ADEG Himmelbauer are served on the lovingly laid Christmas tables of many local families. "Because everyone has something from me at the table, I always have the feeling that I'm celebrating Christmas with the whole town. Christmas is my favorite time," beams the shopkeeper, who runs her own ADEG store in Unterweißenbach in Upper Austria. In the current TV commercial, Bernadette Himmelbauer is representative of all regionally anchored ADEG merchants who work wholeheartedly for their community every day. The short film for the ADEG Christmas campaign was produced in cooperation with the creative agency Wien Nord Serviceplan.
Social community at ADEG
The ADEG Christmas campaign once again underlines ADEG's core values: locality, sustainability and community. Jürgen Öllinger, REWE Wholesale Managing Director, explains: "With the Christmas campaign, we want to show that our ADEG retailers put their heart and soul into helping people and their needs in the regions every day. They are not only reliable local suppliers, but also play an important role in the social community. Especially at Christmas time, ADEG retailers are an irreplaceable part of their communities and make a significant contribution to the success of Christmas in many families."
