Together 180 years of Viennese history: BILLA launches AÏDA delicacies in stores for the first time

110 years of AÏDA and 70 years of BILLA - both occasions to celebrate! Just in time for their special company anniversaries, two institutions founded in Vienna are joining forces for the first time and are now allowing customers in selected BILLA, BILLA PLUS and BILLA Corso stores in Vienna and the surrounding area to enjoy sweet temptations from the traditional Viennese café confectioner AÏDA. As part of this exclusive cooperation with BILLA, AÏDA is offering its products in retail stores for the first time.

"With the AÏDA range at BILLA, we are carefully bringing a 110-year-old tradition into the modern age and giving even more people easy access to our cakes, tarts and strudel," says Dominik Prousek, the fourth generation of the AÏDA owner family. "By integrating AÏDA products into our BILLA range, we want to enable our customers to enjoy our high-quality baked goods even if they don't live in the immediate vicinity of an AÏDA store. We are delighted about this great cooperation between two Viennese companies," says Marcel Haraszti, CEO of REWE International AG.

AÏDA range offers confectionery enjoyment at home

The range comprises 14 frozen products and extends from savory curd cheese golaches to pulled apple strudel and other Viennese Danish pastries, cream and cardinal slices and whole cakes for festive occasions. Customers can find these in over 30 selected BILLA, BILLA PLUS and BILLA Corso stores in AÏDA-branded refrigerators, easily recognizable by their dusky pink color scheme. All products can be enjoyed at home after defrosting. The matching AÏDA coffee complements the frozen specialty range, providing a complete AÏDA moment of enjoyment at home. It is available in BILLA, BILLA PLUS and BILLA Corso stores either ground or as a whole bean.

BILLA and AÏDA promotion: save 10 euros on your next visit to AÏDA

BILLA and AÏDA are celebrating their cooperation with a special promotion: customers who buy one of AÏDA's products at BILLA, BILLA PLUS or BILLA Corso can send their corresponding invoice as a scan to marketing@aida.at. As a thank you for their purchase, they will receive an exclusive 10 euro AÏDA voucher. This voucher can be redeemed in all AÏDA stores and thus enables a discounted purchase. The promotion runs until the end of the year.
