ÖGVS Branchenmonitor 2021: BILLA Online Shop is the best food delivery service

For the fourth time, the BILLA Online Shop has been voted by its customers as the number 1 best food delivery service in Austria and is entitled to bear the title "Industry Champion 2021". The BILLA Online Shop was particularly convincing in the areas of customer satisfaction and customer service, where it achieved the top ranking in each case.

"We are very proud of this excellent score that our customers have given us. Their satisfaction is the measure of all things for us and the reason why we are constantly expanding our online offer and services. For example, in order to meet the strong increase in demand since the beginning of the Corona pandemic, we have significantly increased our capacities in a very short time and significantly extended the delivery windows. The selection of products and the number of Click & Collect shops are also growing steadily," explains Elke Wilgmann, CEO BILLA MERKUR Austria.   

For the Industry Monitor 2021, 320,000 people were surveyed on a total of 1,877 companies from 175 industries. The companies surveyed were selected independently through research by the Gesellschaft für Verbraucherstudien (ÖGVS) ( Association for Consumer Studies) on the largest and most important suppliers in the sectors surveyed. The customer survey was completely self-initiated and carried out without the involvement of the companies studied.   

"As an independent research institute, we have set ourselves the task of providing consumers with orientation through empirically based and objective industry studies in order to make it easier for them to choose products and services," says Katja Likowski of the ÖGVS, explaining the background to the annually conducted industry monitor.
