The Ja! Natürlich (Yes! Of course) light milk contains 55% less fat than organic whole milk and has a fat content of only 1.8%. "The returnable glass bottles are refilled at least 15 times and are therefore the most ecological choice. We are pleased that the Ja! Natürlich organic whole milk in returnable glass bottles is so popular with consumers and therefore we now also offer our low-fat organic light milk in this high-quality and environmentally friendly packaging", explains Head of Ja! Natürlich Klaudia Atzmüller.
Ja! Natürlich as a pioneer in green packaging
The fact that reusable packaging that does not use plastic is definitely the most environmentally friendly solution is also confirmed by numerous environmental experts. Not only because of the better climate balance due to multiple use and reduction of plastic use, but also because of the avoidance of waste - and thus also the littering of our environment - it is absolutely advisable to rely on reusable packaging. Out of its responsibility for people, animals and the environment, Ja! Natürlich has already saved a total of around 1,100 tonnes of plastic for fruit and vegetables since 2011 by reducing packaging and switching to green packaging, which corresponds to the load of around 140 rubbish trucks.
Animal welfare is also a top priority at Ja! Natürlich
But at least as important as the good ecological balance of the packaging are animal welfare and high quality for Ja! Natürlich. The Ja! Natürlich organic cows enjoy 365 days a year, 24 hours a day, free range and maximum freedom of movement both outdoors and in the barn. To this day, only Ja! Natürlich guarantees this.
The empty returnable milk glass bottles with a deposit of 22 cents are collected daily in the branches. After sorting, they are returned to the dairy farm for reuse.
