After our successful launches of RADIO PENNY Live, the first live in-store radio in the Czech Republic, and PENNY FM in Romania, the first live-moderated shopping radio in Romania, we are now taking another important step with our next moderated programme in Hungary", RADIO MAX Head Michael Tippl is pleased to announce. Starting July 1st, 'Rádió PENNY FM' will be heard in more than 200 shops and by more than 1.5 million customers per week in Hungary.

Rádió PENNY FM' - on air around the clock from Monday to Sunday
A team of four, consisting of chief editors, presenters and reporters, ensures a varied programme. The team is supplemented by correspondents in Hungary, who provide up-to-the-minute reports from all over Hungary and the regions.
Competent and friendly radio presenters accompany customers during their shopping with selected articles, recipe ideas, nutrition and health tips as well as reports on Hungarian products and regional suppliers and provide inspiration and entertainment. This makes shopping at PENNY a unique feel-good experience.
True to the motto "a vásárlás hullámhosszán" - on the wavelength of shopping - the music in the customer programme is compiled especially for PENNY. "We rely on a lot of variety with a high proportion of Hungarian songs. Our experienced music editors compile the song lists according to the time of day and season, and journalistically trained presenters ensure variety in the programme. This makes shopping in the store more relaxed and customers feel more comfortable," explains Radio Max Head Michael Tippl.
Individual communication with employees
The employees also benefit from the new radio programme. Before the shop opens, the exclusive morning show already sets the mood. According to the motto "Ébredj velünk!" - Wake up with us - all 3588 PENNY store employees can express their own music wishes. In addition, they are informed about company-specific news in a timely manner. Even after closing time, 'PENNY FM' broadcasts a varied music programme in the evening hours and on Sundays.
