20 years of PENNY: Graz-Wetzelsdorf grills pork belly - the Styrians' favorite grilled meat
On the occasion of the company's 20th anniversary, PENNY invited employees and customers to a joint barbecue in front of the PENNY branch in Graz Wetzelsdorf.

The event was ceremoniously opened by PENNY Managing Director Ralf Teschmit and barbecue master Wolfgang Arndt. Local political celebrities, represented by local councillor Kurt Luttenberger, also picked up tips from the barbecue professional and enjoyed the meat specialties of the brand discounter.
Quality meat at the best price is what customers enjoy when they shop at their regional PENNY store. At a joint barbecue in front of the Graz-Wetzelsdorf store, they were convinced by the fresh meat assortment of PENNY's own brand "Ich bin Österreich" (I am Austria), tasting their way through steaks, spare ribs, chicken fillets and chops from PENNY's own butcher. Grill Heaven grill master Wolfgang Arndt instructed the guests on how to get the meat onto the hot grill. The favorite grilled meat of the Styrians had previously been chosen by the PENNY community. The result: The "green heart" prefers to grill pork belly. Barbecue expert Wolfgang Arndt shows the best way to prepare it and gives numerous tips on barbecuing.
