On store days, the PENNY management traditionally runs a store and takes over the tasks of the store employees. They stock the goods, provide fresh bread and pastries as well as fruit and vegetables at the market stall and offer PENNY customers the usual and unique PENNY service on site. The employees of the respective stores enjoy an additional day off during this time. The PENNY store day took place for the 5th time on June 27th with Ralf Teschmit in Groß Enzersdorf. This PENNY store was selected as part of an internal competition in which the best store is chosen each year on the basis of selected criteria. This year, the focus was on Austria's freshest PENNY store in the "Fruit and Vegetables" product range.

Being directly involved in the store is and was particularly important for Ralf Teschmit: "The PENNY employees are committed to the wishes of our customers every day and provide them with a well-stocked shopping experience. They are the cornerstone of our success. That's why I'm particularly pleased to be able to lend a hand in the store myself once again and to be even closer to our customers."
The store days are a thank-you to the PENNY employees for their daily work in the PENNY stores. Teamwork is an important component and the 15-member team at the PENNY store in Groß Enzersdorf showed how committed they are to their customers and to each other every day.
