"The field sustainability is of essential importance for REWE International. It is an attitude that we have adopted for many years - towards our customers and colleagues, towards the environment, and towards the way we do business. At the same time, regulatory requirements for our Group are increasing. To name just a few examples: the implementation of the Supply Chain Duty of Care Act, the implementation and further development of a legal framework for ESG-compliant corporate governance, and the transformation toward the use of renewable energies. All in all, there are many cross-company issues that require detailed technical expertise as well as extensive process and project experience at international and national level. Andreas Streit brings precisely this know-how to REWE International AG and I am very pleased to have him on board for this exciting and extensive task in the future," says the responsible BILLA CEO Robert Nagele.
Tanja Dietrich-Hübner, who has built up, significantly shaped and helped to develop the Sustainability department over the past 13 years, will in future actively support the topic of Public Affairs in Corporate Communications with her extensive know-how and network.
