On the outside, the store building impresses with a modern BILLA design, which has been extended to include the name of the merchant in large letters. On the inside, the 740 m2 of sales floor space impresses with the personal signature of Andreas Mimra in all areas. This is particularly visible in the careful selection of products, consisting of successful classics, popular private labels and products from small businesses in the region. The variety of the assortment offers local products from regional producers such as sausages from the Artner butchery in Mautern, fruit juices and wine from Altenriederer in Franzhausen, eggs and pasta from Kogelmann in Breitensee or dairy products from Hiegesberger in Fugging.
BILLA Mimra's 25-strong team cares for its customers and the region
Andreas Mimra's team consists of 25 employees who advise customers on their daily shopping. With the support of his team, the new store manager is also continuing to implement sustainability measures that have already been taken - such as his own photovoltaic system on the roof, which supplies energy for the store, or the cooperation with "Too Good To Go". The entire BILLA store is barrier-free and offers 91 parking spaces for customers.
Andreas Mimra, BILLA merchant in Krems, on the motives behind his decision: "An exciting new chapter is beginning for me as a BILLA merchant, opening up many new perspectives. I started with the BILLA family as an apprentice in 1996 and have been BILLA PLUS store manager in Tulln for the last ten years. Now I'm really looking forward to taking off in my new role. Now I can be there for my customers and my team even more intensively and at the same time benefit from the strong and secure partnership with BILLA. My goal is clearly to offer mainly local and regional businesses a stage in my market and thus support the producers in the region. It is particularly important to me that the assortment is ideally adapted to the needs and wishes of my customers.
