New Department Management in BILLA Purchasing

As of July 1, 2025, Moritz Picker has assumed the role of department head in Category Management / Purchasing (CM-EK) at BILLA. In his new position, he reports directly to Zdeslav Jolic, Executive Management CM-EK Dry Goods (Food & NonFood).

Since early July, Moritz Picker has held the position of Head of Purchasing CM-EK. Most recently, he was responsible for the Group Management CM for non-alcoholic beverages, beer, and spirits at BILLA AG since September 2020. In his new role, Moritz Picker leads three group managers: for beverages (formerly his own group), staple foods I, and staple foods II. He reports functionally and disciplinarily directly to Zdeslav Jolic.

After completing his business studies at WU Vienna with a focus on Marketing Management and Change Management, Moritz Picker started as a Management Trainee at REWE International AG in 2011. During this time, he gained extensive insights into sales, central areas, and through an international stay in Slovakia. From 2013 onwards, he worked as a Category Manager, particularly in the beer sector. In 2016, he took on leadership responsibility as a team leader, followed by several group management roles in Category Management.
