As a first step, REWE Group has succeeded in recruiting him for a very essential project in the portfolio of REWE Group CFO Telerik Shishmanov from January 2024. The future responsibility for Christoph Matschke's portfolios will be announced in mid-October.

Christoph Matschke has been a member of the Management Board of REWE International AG and a divisional board member of REWE Group since January 2017. He began his professional career in 2000 at REWE Group as a project manager.
A graduate in business administration - Matschke holds a degree in business administration from the University of Münster - he was appointed country coach for PENNY International in 2002. He then took over as divisional manager for controlling and accounting at PENNY National and PENNY International. Before being appointed to the REWE International Management Board in 2017, Christoph Matschke was responsible for PENNY International as Commercial Director.
