Thus, the federal capital has four BILLA training centers, and there are a total of nine throughout Austria. At these training centers, all BILLA and BILLA PLUS employees in the region - from apprentices to managers - are offered a comprehensive range of training and further education opportunities, training and knowledge transfer at the highest level.

Practical learning in the modern training center on around 1,000 m2
The new training center offers around 1,000 m2 of space for 120 people who can attend various training courses in the total of seven top-equipped rooms. There is a multifunctional room for meat, fish, fruit and vegetables, confectionery and market kitchen, a cashier's room, a counter room, a meeting room with video conferencing equipment, two large seminar rooms and an office. The respective areas in which training takes place are replicas of those found 1:1 in the markets. This enables practical training and the replay of situations from everyday working life in a protected environment and under professional supervision. Employees also learn about the products and how to use technical equipment. All rooms are equipped with the latest technology, enabling trainers to use a wide range of presentation and training options.
The head of the training center is Sabrina Dervisoska, and responsibility lies with the BILLA HR team headed by Elke Peller-Kühne.
