In addition to the three stores, there are also four charging stations for electric cars on around 2,200m² of retail space. In spring, there will be 2,900m² of green space including flowering meadows, which will be designed together with pupils from Neudörfl elementary school, a parking lot with tree islands and green facades. Energy efficiency and environmental friendliness also play an important role in the operation of the triple location: 100 percent green electricity from Austria and energy-efficient refrigeration systems are used, as well as a PV system on the roof of the stores with an output of 350 kWp.
BILLA impresses with its wide range of fresh produce and regionality
The new BILLA store not only impresses with a wide product range of 12,800 items on around 1,100m2, but also focuses in particular on a regional offering. "Our customers like to buy food from the surrounding area that comes from local businesses. At the same time, we also support smaller suppliers and offer them a platform to showcase their products. For example, the store in Neudörfl offers juices and fruit spreads from Trummer Frucht in Stegersbach, Windisch sausage from Wiener Neustadt, Kanzi coffee from Trumau and the popular pasta from the Werkovits pasta factory in Draßmarkt," says Stefan Weinlich, BILLA Sales Director. The new store will also create 18 new jobs. "BILLA has been supplying people in Austria with fresh products for seven decades and is considered an important local supplier in urban and rural areas. Our aim is to fulfill individual and local customer wishes in the best possible way with tailor-made offers. Our customers can look forward to a colorful variety of products as well as attractive prices and promotions," explains Weinlich.
BIPA inspires with new store design and expanded range
The new 370m2 BIPA store has an innovative layout with a modern and customer-friendly store design that invites customers to try, browse and discover. "As the drugstore retailer with the most locations in Austria, we are proud to be operating a new store for our customers in Neudörfl with immediate effect," said BIPA Sales Director Evelyn Weber on the occasion of the opening. The BIPA store in Neudörfl offers plenty of space for exciting shopping. The range includes over 15,000 international branded articles and successful BIPA brands such as bi good, LOOK BY BIPA, BABYWELL, BI HOME, BI LIFE and BI CARE.
BIPA customers will find a comprehensive range of fragrances, cosmetics and care products, home accessories and household products. Eight employees personally take care of customers' concerns and needs. "The entire team around store manager Isabella Pint is looking forward to welcoming our customers to Austria's newest BIPA store," says Weber enthusiastically.
PENNY focuses on product variety at discount prices
In the new store with over 730m² of sales space, PENNY offers a unique service from the brand discounter: fresh heroes provide fresh fruit and vegetables throughout the day. The PENNY butchers process beef and pork freshly and directly in the store and are also happy to fulfill customers' individual meat requests or cuts on pre-order. The pork, chicken and beef offered under the "Ich bin Österreich" private label comes 100% from Austria and is also slaughtered here. With a total of nine employees, PENNY provides local jobs and strengthens the regional economy. A particular highlight is the supply of regional produce from a local farmer to the store. "We are proud that PENNY is bringing even more fresh fruit and vegetables and its own butcher to Neudörfl. Our customers will receive a large selection of own brands as well as well-known brands at the best value for money," promises PENNY Sales Director Niko Karras.
