BILLA teams in Lower Austria collect 10,300 euros for St. Anna Children's Cancer Research

It's already a tradition: every year during the Christmas season, the employees of BILLA and BILLA PLUS stores show special initiative and organize various campaigns with the aim of collecting donations for a good cause - all while helping their customers with their Christmas shopping day after day. In Lower Austria, the BILLA teams tried to raise as much money as possible for St. Anna Children's Cancer Research.

  • Thanks to the commitment of employees and generous customers, 10,300 euros have now been donated to St. Anna Children's Cancer Research

The teams were sometimes particularly creative: for example, the employees of the BILLA store in Ebreichsdorf, Lower Austria, once again opened a punch stand this year and sold homemade punch and cookies for a good cause. In Wiener Neustadt's Merkurcity, the BILLA PLUS colleagues there collected donations with the help of a balloon artist, while in Oberwaltersdorf an employee dressed up as the Grinch surprised customers and called for donations. In addition, donation boxes were set up at other BILLA and BILLA PLUS supermarket checkouts in Lower Austria.

"All in all, the commitment of the BILLA teams in Lower Austria and our generous customers raised a fantastic 10,300 euros. I am delighted to be able to hand this over to St. Anna Children's Cancer Research on behalf of my dedicated colleagues," says BILLA Sales Manager Kurt Döring.
