There was a big surprise for all visitors to Mariahilferstraße 112 on Wednesday evening. Shortly after closing time, the BIPA shop display was transformed into a concert stage. There will be a total of three surprise concerts in selected BIPA shops in Vienna until the Danube Island Festival at the end of June - the series was opened by the Lower Austrian pop band PÄM. With hits such as "Egal" and "Danke für nix", they brought a festival atmosphere directly to the shopping street. BIPA will also be represented on the Danube Island itself: In the BIPA Beauty Corner, visitors can get a free festival make-up, and period products will be provided for artists and the Danube Island Festival organisation team.
"We are delighted to be able to bring the Danube Island Festival to the centre of the city with this campaign and offer our customers and passers-by a unique experience," says BIPA Managing Director Markus Geyer. "But this is just the beginning, because we will also be present on the Danube Island during the festival, including with our BIPA Beauty Corner, which will ensure the perfect appearance even on the third day." Right next to the OBI / kronehit Electronic Music stage, visitors can have their festival look created free of charge by professional BIPA make-up artists and test the numerous BIPA beauty and make-up products. In addition, BI CARE SUN SPF30 sun milk will be distributed on the festival site to provide the sun protection that is so important at festivals.
Free period products and VIP passes
As part of the current BIPA Beauty Weeks, two VIP passes for the Donauinselfest are being raffled off. This gives winners access to the exclusive VIP & sponsor tent, where they can enjoy the best view of the main stage as well as drinks and snacks - and maybe even a few artists. In addition to the VIP & sponsor tent, BIPA will also be providing free period products from the BIPA brands bi good and BI COMFORT throughout the backstage area. Since 2023, the company has been working with the City of Vienna to combat period poverty and remove the taboo surrounding menstruation with the "Red Box" initiative. Markus Geyer: "A festival of this size is associated with stress and enormous effort. That's why it was very important to us to create not only a beauty corner for visitors but also an offer that helps all artists and the organisation team to feel good during these stressful days."
