The market, which is connected to his local supermarket, is open to customers during lunch breaks, two hours after closing time and on Sundays and public holidays.
ADEG merchant Markus Stubauer's self-service market offers the opportunity to shop outside of regular opening hours and is perfect for quick errands on Sundays and public holidays. The independent ADEG retailer demonstrates how modern technology and traditional local supplier service can be successfully combined. The store's opening hours are from Monday to Friday from 12:30 to 14:30 and from 18:00 to 20:00, on Saturdays from 13:00 to 18:00 and on Sundays and public holidays from 08:00 to 12:00. The small self-service store, which is attached to ADEG Stubauer, covers an area of 38 square meters and offers a wide range of products, from groceries to hygiene products. Access to the store is only possible with an ATM card and payment is made at an electronic cash register.
ADEG merchant Markus Stubauer is delighted with the response so far: “Our self-service market is a great addition to our community, especially for people who want to shop during our lunch breaks or outside of regular opening hours. Since opening a month ago, the store has been going very well and has been extremely well received by customers.” REWE Wholesale Managing Director Jürgen Öllinger emphasizes the importance of the new concept: “With the first ADEG self-service store in Upper Austria, we are taking another important step towards flexible and customer-oriented local supply. We are very pleased that we can meet people's needs with this innovative concept.”
