Providing joy and doing good with the BIPA reindeer: BIPA donates 1 euro per children's book sold to CARITAS mother and child centres

Christmas is just around the corner, but it is not a time of joy for everyone. This year, BIPA is once again organising a special fundraising campaign to support those who find themselves in difficult life situations. The new children's book with the BIPA reindeer is now available in all 570 BIPA shops throughout Austria for 1.99 euros - for every copy sold by 24 December, the Austrian drugstore retailer will donate one euro to the CARITAS Mother and Child Houses.

A heart-warming story for the whole family

The children's book tells the enchanting story of the little reindeer with the pink nose, who bravely asserts herself despite being different and ultimately becomes a heroine. Known from the BIPA Christmas adverts, the adventure lovingly conveys values such as uniqueness, helpfulness and solidarity. This year, the reindeer gains a new friend, whose adventures are told in three episodes captured in short adverts.

Markus Geyer, Managing Director of BIPA: ‘Whether as a small gift or in the Advent calendar - the book with the little reindeer not only brings joy, but also supports an important social initiative. Especially at Christmas, we should think of all those who don't have it so easy right now.’

Christmas campaign 2023 raised €5,000 for Jugend am Werk

Last year, BIPA supported the Jugend am Werk project ‘make up my story’ with its Christmas campaign. As part of the initiative, people with learning difficulties and disabilities from the Im Werd day centre (1020 Vienna), who are primarily artistically active, were professionally given make-up and clothes by make-up artists according to their ideas. This personal transformation was documented by photographers and the final result can now be seen as part of an exhibition from 28 November to 5 December at Galerie werd:art (Im Werd 19, 1020 Vienna).
