‘Turn trash into cash’: BILLA selects winners of the deposit challenge

As part of the BILLA Deposit Challenge, customers who returned their disposable deposit to the deposit machine at BILLA or BILLA PLUS between 17 March and 19 April 2025 and handed in the deposit receipt at the checkout were able to enter the competition at billa.at/pfand using their receipt number. Around 45,000 participants did not miss out on the chance to win great prizes. In addition to the prize draw for 10x 5,000 euro annual purchases, 100x 50 euro and 250x 20 euro shopping vouchers at BILLA and BILLA PLUS, Rene D., Sabine K. and Ernst K. can look forward to winning fully electric VW ID.3s as the main prize.

With the competition, we wanted to incentivise customers to get to grips with the new process. We are delighted that around 45,000 customers took part in the BILLA deposit challenge and that we are now able to present three lucky winners with new e-cars."
