BILLA brings movement and flavour to the Donauinselfest

BILLA and the Donauinselfest combine the joy of enjoyment, exercise and shared experiences. As a partner of the Danube Island Festival 2025 (20-22 June), BILLA is supporting the Vienna Beach Volleyball Talent Cup as part of its efforts to promote young talent. The championship for 10 to 15-year-olds is organised by the Vienna Volleyball Association and aims to get young people interested in sport and volleyball in particular.

The cup will take place on the Sunday of the festival, 22 June, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on the sports island near the rapid transit bridge. The city championships will be played in the U14 and U16 age groups. A special highlight: the final matches will take place on the centre court of the national professional tour – a stage that creates enthusiasm and motivation.

Hearty snacks and purely plant-based delicacies for festival visitors

BILLA will also be providing culinary delights for visitors: at the BILLA Food Stage, visitors can enjoy fresh dishes such as Leberkäse, wraps, pita rolls, baguettes and more – in hearty meat-based or purely plant-based varieties. For a refreshing snack between meals, there is a wide range of thirst-quenching drinks as well as fresh watermelons and berries. The BILLA Food Stage is located directly next to the Centre Court on the sports island, which is situated next to the rapid transit bridge.
