BILLA honours employees for a total of 3,235 years of service to the company

In the stylish surroundings of the Kaiserbahnhof Laxenburg (Mödling district), BILLA recently honoured 117 employees for a total of 3,235 years of service to the company. At the celebration, colleagues from various departments were recognised for their impressive loyalty to the company. The anniversaries ranged from 20 to an impressive 45 years.

As part of a large celebration organised by the BILLA works council, BILLA honoured long-standing colleagues at the Kaiserbahnhof Laxenburg in early June.
117 employees were honoured, including two with 45 years of service.
In total, the honoured employees have been part of BILLA for 3,235 years.

"Behind every number is a personal story, a biography full of dedication and reliability. I am very proud to be able to honour 117 people today for their decades of loyalty. These colleagues are the foundation of our daily success – they make BILLA what we are. A big thank you to the BILLA works council for the excellent organisation," said BILLA Sales Director Stefan Weinlich.

Appreciation for decades of service

‘It is an honour for me every year to organise the anniversary celebration for our employees to recognise their valuable work over decades,’ said Sonja Tippelt, regional works council representative for Vienna, Lower Austria and Burgenland. One of the honoured employees was Karin Bazilides from Baden, who has been with BILLA since 1 July 1980 – 45 years ago: "BILLA has always been a big part of my life. I haven't just worked here, I've grown with the company, witnessed many exciting developments and made long-lasting friendships. I am proud to have been part of this team for so long. Thank you very much for this wonderful and appreciative celebration – it means a lot to me."
