BILLA honoured employees from Vienna, Lower Austria and Burgenland for a total of 4,845 years of service to the company

On 17 September, BILLA honoured 197 employees from Vienna, Lower Austria and Burgenland for their long-standing loyalty and commitment in the ballroom of the Vienna Chamber of Labour (AK) Education Centre. Together, the honourees have an impressive 4,845 years of service to the company – a strong sign of loyalty and solidarity. The celebration was organised by the BILLA works council, which prepared a fitting celebration for the honourees.

AK President Renate Anderl also emphasised the importance of recognising the achievements of those honoured at the ceremony: "Long-standing employees are the backbone of a successful company. Their commitment and loyalty deserve the highest recognition – especially in times of change, this stability is invaluable.‘ Maria Gluchman, Deputy Works Council Chairwoman and Regional Manager for Vienna, Lower Austria North/East and Northern Burgenland, added: ’Every year, it is very important to us to say thank you to our long-serving employees and to highlight their contribution. This celebration is an expression of our appreciation for all the years they have been part of the BILLA family with great commitment and passion."
