Sacher cube campaign: BILLA and its customers donate €8,500 for women with cancer

Following last year’s success, this year’s Sacher cube donation campaign was once again met with great approval from customers: Between 2 and 16 October, customers were able to purchase handmade Sacher cubes in all BILLA PLUS stores across Austria and thereby contribute to the donation. A total donation amount of €8,500 was achieved, including an additional contribution from BILLA. The donation benefits the association “Feel Again” and enables women affected by cancer to enjoy special feel-good sessions that include make-up coaching and photo shoots, helping to boost their self-confidence.

More than 400 women supported so far

The association “Feel Again” was founded in 2018 by make-up artist Catharina Flieger and photographer Birgit Ehrenreich. In Eisenstadt, they offered the first free make-up course with a photo shoot for women affected by cancer, aiming to strengthen their self-confidence and improve their quality of life. The now five-member team has already supported more than 400 affected women, giving them a few hours of respite from their (therapy) routines. They regularly organize events in Vienna, Lower Austria, Upper Austria, Burgenland, and Styria. During the make-up coaching, participants learn how to conceal visible side effects of chemotherapy, such as skin changes or the loss of eyelashes and eyebrows. Afterwards, they have the opportunity to have high-quality portrait photos taken free of charge. As part of the feel-good afternoons, which “Feel Again” organizes with volunteer partners, affected members can express their creativity and find moments of peace. Since 2025, the association has been offering additional feel-good sessions for “Feel Again” members – the feel-good afternoons. These include activities for body, mind, and soul such as meditation sessions, yoga sessions, mother-child baking courses, special photo shoots, and creative workshops like fascinator making, painting, or Advent wreath workshops, and much more.
