International trade: Changes at PENNY Italy and REWE Dienstleistung

Arnd Riehl will become the new Managing Director of PENNY Italy on 1 February 2026. His role will be taken over by Lisa Köb, Head of People & Culture at BILLA.

Arnd Riehl, Managing Director of REWE International Dienstleistungs GmbH and Director of People & Culture, will move to Milan on 1 February 2026 to become CEO and member of the management board of PENNY Italy. He will succeed Nicola Pierdomenico. In his new role, Arnd Riehl will report to Michael Jäger, CEO of REWE International AG (PENNY International).

Arnd Riehl joined the REWE Group in Germany in 2016 as Sales Manager Discount National (PENNY). From October 2020 to December 2023, he served as CEO of BILLA Slovakia before taking on the role of Director of People & Culture at the REWE Group in Austria in January 2024. Prior to joining the REWE Group, he served as CEO of METRO Group Advertising, among other positions.

Lisa Köb, currently Head of People & Culture BILLA at the REWE Group in Austria, will succeed Arnd Riehl on 1 February 2026. In her current role, she is responsible for BILLA's HR and cultural agenda. In her new role, Lisa Köb will report to Marcel Haraszti, CEO of REWE International AG (BILLA BIPA International).

Since joining the REWE Group in Austria in 2015, Lisa Köb has held many different positions in HR management, ranging from HR business partner to expert talent management, lead training & development, and overall management as Head of HR & Internal Communication at BIPA in Austria. The business economist, who holds a master's degree in business consulting and corporate management with a focus on human resources management and organisational development, started her career in the personnel services industry in the areas of recruiting and HR management.
