900 new BILLA apprentices start their training

This year, BILLA once again invited its new apprentices to welcome days to give them a good start to their training. 900 apprentices were welcomed together with their approximately 490 trainers at seven events in Vienna, Salzburg, Linz, Graz and Villach. During the events, they had the opportunity to get to know the company and their trainers. In addition, they were able to talk to many other contacts on site, including the apprentice and junior staff development team, the works council and the sales management team.

BILLA still has apprenticeship positions available

Anyone interested in an apprenticeship with one of the country's largest food retailers still has the opportunity to apply. Committed young talent is still being sought, particularly in the retail and confectionery sectors. If you are interested, you can simply apply online via the job portal. BILLA also offers apprenticeships with Matura and additional qualifications, and vocational school qualifications and final apprenticeship examinations are rewarded with attractive bonuses if achieved with good results. After successfully completing their apprenticeship, interested parties can apply for the junior management programme. Other benefits include an increased apprentice income. Apprentices receive €1,320 in their first year, €1,540 in their second, €1,940 in their third and finally €1,990 in their fourth year.

BILLA trains young talent in ten apprenticeship professions

Whether you want to become a retail salesperson, system catering specialist, media specialist or confectioner, BILLA offers training in a total of ten different apprenticeship professions. A dual apprenticeship (retail and office clerk) is also possible. Throughout their training, apprentices are personally supported by BILLA's apprentice and junior staff development programme, giving them another point of contact in addition to their trainer.
