BILLA opens innovative BILLA Box at Salzburg Airport

With the new BILLA Box on the grounds of Salzburg Airport, BILLA is taking another innovative step towards modern local supply: on a sales area of just under 60 m², customers now have access to a fully automated self-service market with over 1,100 products – from freshly prepared delicacies and snacks to everyday goods. The new BILLA Box is open daily from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m., including Sundays and public holidays.

In addition to a café, newsagent, bank and bakery, the BILLA Box perfectly rounds off the range of services on offer, with opening hours even on Sundays and public holidays," says airport managing director Bettina Ganghofer.

There are three short-term parking spaces directly in front of the BILLA Box, offering 30 minutes of free parking. The uncomplicated and barrier-free access allows customers to enjoy a pleasant, quick and intuitive shopping experience. Once you have scanned your debit card in the entrance area, the BILLA Box automatically grants you access. The self-service checkouts guide you step by step through the payment process: you scan the products yourself using barcodes and then pay by debit or credit card.
