New BILLA spokespersons: Julian Steiner and Natalia Michalak take on new communications roles

The Corporate Communications & Public Affairs department, headed by Claudia Riebler, is getting reinforcement: Julian Steiner (37) will take on the role of press spokesperson for BILLA in Austria. Natalia Michalak (33) will serve as regional spokesperson for BILLA in the federal states.

The Corporate Communications & Public Affairs department, headed by Claudia Riebler, is getting reinforcement: Julian Steiner (37) will take on the role of press spokesperson for BILLA in Austria. The experienced communicator and political spokesperson of the year 2021 most recently served as press spokesperson for Foreign Minister Beate Meinl-Reisinger. He succeeds Marcus Schober, who has moved within the group and took over as Head of Corporate Security at REWE Group Austria in December 2025.

Natalia Michalak (33) will be the regional spokesperson for BILLA in the federal states. She has been part of REWE Group Corporate Communications for four years and has helped build up and is responsible for PR for the BILLA sales regions. Previously, she worked in communications at the Federal Ministry of Social Affairs, Health, Care and Consumer Protection, where she was responsible for crisis communications and stakeholder relations.

Simone Hoepke and Paul Pöttschacher will continue to serve as corporate spokespersons for REWE Group Austria.
