To mark what is arguably the most legendary ball, Karl Guschlbauer, known as the Schaumrollenkönig (cream roll king), is presenting an exclusive luxury edition of his legendary Opernball cream roll. The traditional Viennese pastry has been refined with real gold dust for this occasion.

‘The Schaumrolle is a piece of Viennese tradition. With the Gold Edition, I wanted to capture the special magic of the Opera Ball – and thanks to PENNY, everyone can enjoy it this year, not just the ball guests,’ says Guschlbauer proudly.

‘The Opera Ball stands for glamour and great emotions. With the Guschlbauer Schaumrolle, our customers can easily bring a piece of the Opera Ball feeling home with them,’ says Johannes Greller, Managing Director of PENNY Austria.

This year, Karl Guschlbauer's celebrity companion will add extra glamour: Hollywood star Sharon Stone will accompany him to the Opera Ball, bringing international star flair to Vienna. An appearance that perfectly suits the occasion, because the Opera Ball, like the gold-plated premium cream roll, stands for elegance, high emotions and a touch of luxury.
