118 tons of donated goods: BILLA and Sutterlüty customers showed great dedication during the 2026 LEO & Lions Collection Day

For this year’s LEO & Lions Collection Day, customers, together with BILLA, BILLA PLUS, and Sutterlüty, and in collaboration with the LEO and Lions Clubs, once again made a significant contribution to helping people in need in Austria. On April 18, customers had the opportunity to donate basic food items and hygiene products at 115 BILLA, BILLA PLUS, and Sutterlüty stores. Thanks to the generous donations, a total of 118 tons of in-kind donations were collected.

The Social Commitment of LEO and Lions Clubs

The Lions Club is an international service network that has been dedicated to organizing and carrying out social projects for more than 100 years. Under the motto “We Serve,” the Lions Club supports the socially disadvantaged, the sick, and people with disabilities; provides disaster relief; and is committed to helping children and young people. In Austria, this commitment began in 1952 with the founding of the first club in Graz—the Lions Club is now represented by approximately 250 chapters throughout the country. Through the LEO Club, the youth organization of the Lions Club, young people also contribute to aid projects with great dedication.
