Press Release 8th April 2026

BILLA’s “I live for my club!” campaign: The collection of raffle tickets begins on 9 April, with over 100 free prizes up for grabs for club sports

The BILLA family is passionate about sport, team spirit and fair play, and has been actively supporting Austrian club sport for many years. As well as supporting young local athletes through long-standing partnerships across a range of sports, the BILLA campaign “I live for my club!” has become a fixture in the sporting calendar. From 9 April, the campaign enters its fourth round and BILLA customers can once again collect tickets with their purchases to support their favourite club.

Kai Pataky and Michael Paterno on behalf of the BILLA Executive Board: “Whether a small village club or a large city club – sports clubs are the heart of every community. They bring people together, strengthen body and mind, and create a sense of belonging. With our BILLA campaign, we are giving every club across Austria – regardless of size or membership numbers – the opportunity to continue growing. We are therefore delighted that the campaign is now entering its fourth year, enabling us to provide long-term support for the club landscape in Austria and for young talent.”

Sport Austria President Hans Niessl: “Motivating more people to exercise regularly is one of our most important goals. The approximately 15,000 sports clubs in Austria make a decisive contribution to this – in terms of health, the economy and social cohesion. That is why I welcome every initiative to promote organised sport and am delighted that BILLA is once again making a valuable contribution to this with this campaign.”

Take part in the BILLA promotion now – it’s that simple

Customers who spend 15 euros or more at BILLA, BILLA PLUS, BILLA Corso and BILLA Kaufleute Märkte will receive one entry each. They can assign this entry to a club either online at billa.at/meinverein or in person by dropping it into the collection box. Customers without a favourite club can donate their collected tickets to “Ferdl’s Club Fund” at billa.at/meinverein. This fund will be raffled off at the end of the campaign and divided among 30 clubs. As was the case last year, a number of sports items particularly well-suited to disabled sports have been selected in collaboration with the Austrian Disabled Sports Association (ÖBSV) – including dark glasses and floorball stick sets. Any amateur sports club registered in Austria, regardless of its size or number of members, is eligible to take part in the BILLA campaign. This requires a simple club registration at billa.at/meinverein. Re-registration is necessary, even if the club took part last year. All important information regarding participation and key dates can be found in the information box.
