Doing Good Together: LEO & Lions Fundraiser at BILLA, BILLA PLUS, and Sutterlüty on April 18 to Support People at Risk of Poverty

Together with the LEO and Lions Clubs, BILLA, BILLA PLUS, and Sutterlüty are once again hosting the traditional collection day this year to support people in difficult circumstances. Since 2014, this fundraising campaign has been organized and carried out by these partners. On Saturday, April 18, 2026, customers at 102 BILLA PLUS stores, 13 BILLA stores, and 2 Sutterlüty locations in Vorarlberg will once again have the opportunity to purchase non-perishable staple foods and hygiene products for a good cause in addition to their regular shopping.

Robert Nagele, BILLA Executive Board Member: “As one of the country’s largest food retailers, we view social responsibility as a central part of our operations. The LEO and Lions Collection Day once again highlights this commitment and demonstrates, year after year, the depth of solidarity among our customers and the cohesion within our society. On April 18, we will once again join forces with our customers and the LEO and Lions Clubs to support people at risk of poverty, and we appreciate every donation.”

The Social Commitment of LEO and Lions Clubs

The Lions Club is an international service network that has been dedicated to organizing and carrying out social projects for more than 100 years. Under the motto “We Serve,” the Lions Club supports socially disadvantaged, sick, and disabled people, provides disaster relief, and is committed to helping children and young people. In Austria, this commitment began in 1952 with the founding of the first club in Graz—the Lions Club is now represented by approximately 250 chapters throughout the country. Through the LEO Club, the youth organization of the Lions Club, young people also contribute to aid projects with great dedication.
