Youth football fever: Admira Wacker wins the spectacular final of the BILLA Football Cup
For the third year in a row, the BILLA Football Cup has brought emerging young footballers into the spotlight and once again highlighted BILLA’s strong commitment to grassroots club sports and the promotion of young talent. Last Saturday, all the excitement of the BILLA Football Cup came together in one place: at the national final in the Datenpol Arena, 14 teams competed after qualifying in seven regional tournaments across six BILLA regions. Cheered on by numerous fans and BILLA mascot Ferdl, the final turned into a thrilling celebration of sporting passion and fair play. Admira Wacker and SC/ESV Parndorf delivered a gripping, head-to-head final, with Admira Wacker emerging as the winners. The tournament concluded with an awards ceremony led by BILLA Sales Directors Hamed Mohseni, Stefan Weinlich, and Peter Gschiel, together with Admira Wacker President Christian Tschida, who presented the challenge trophy to Admira Wacker to great applause.
