BILLA donates 2,262.72 euros to the RosaLila Pantherinnen in Graz

As part of the CSD parade on Saturday, 27 June 2026, BILLA made a visible statement in support of diversity, solidarity and social engagement with its own barbecue stall in Graz’s Stadtpark. A team of 13 BILLA staff members volunteered their time at the event and worked with great dedication to serve the food and run the barbecue. In exchange for a donation of their choice, visitors were offered bratwurst, Käsekrainer, Leberkäse and a vegan alternative, accompanied by bread rolls and sauces. There were also rainbow-coloured roulades from the BILLA patisserie.

Support for the LGBTQIA+ community

With the proceeds from donations totalling 2,262.72 euros, BILLA supported the RosaLila PantherInnen, who have been championing the causes of the LGBTQIA+ community in Styria for many years. “Diversity, respect and mutual appreciation are core values that we practise every day at BILLA. I am delighted that, as part of the CSD parade in Graz, we were not only able to show our support but also make a tangible contribution. This initiative once again highlighted how social commitment, team spirit and visible support for diversity can go hand in hand. The donation to the RosaLila PantherInnen is a strong sign of support for an open and diverse society,” explains Peter Gschiel, BILLA’s Sales Director for Styria and Southern Burgenland.
