Product innovation: Vegan smoked salmon from the 3D printer at BILLA PLUS

In the spirit of innovative environmental protection, BILLA is once again expanding its vegan range and, with the help of Revo Foods, is bringing a very special kind of fish to the cooling shelf: vegan smoked salmon made from pea protein.

During yesterday's broadcast of "2 Minutes 2 Millions", the Viennese start-up presented its unique product innovation and delighted the investors, the audience and the BILLA family. The vegan fish alternative, which hardly differs in taste and appearance from conventional smoked salmon, is therefore now available in all BILLA PLUS stores and in the BILLA online shop.

Plant base ensures high nutritional value and low-fat content

With "salmon from plants" Revo Foods has developed a product that contains omega-3, pea proteins and vitamins and has a lower fat content compared to conventional salmon. "With our salmon from plants, we offer all fish lovers a sustainable, vegan alternative to enjoy the true taste of fish," explains Robin Simsa from Revo Foods.
