This BILLA PLUS store is the first new building to be taken over by a merchant - Emir Spahic's ideas, vision and personal signature were already incorporated into the planning and construction of the store, which took around six months. From the outside, the store building impresses with its modern BILLA PLUS design, which has been extended to include the addition "Spahic family".
Inside, customers can expect a diverse range of products on over 1,600m2: Successful classics, popular own brands and products from small businesses in the region. These include the finest wines from the Heinrich Hartl winery in Oberwaltersdorf, game and delicatessen specialities from res frumentariae in Vienna-Meidling, as well as meat and sausages from the Windisch butcher's shop in Wiener Neustadt, which has been family-run for three generations. A special centrepiece of the market is the plant-based "PFLANZILLA World". This themed area offers exclusively plant-based foods. These include 150 new products and tasting winners, which were previously mainly available at BILLA PFLANZILLA in Vienna and Graz.
BILLA PLUS Spahic family takes care of its customers and the region with a 50-strong team
Emir Spahic's team consists of 50 employees, including one apprentice. The opening of the BILLA PLUS store has created 30 new jobs for the region. Emir Spahic's team is on hand to advise customers on their daily shopping - including meat and fish service and in the market patisserie. In addition, the new BILLA PLUS in Pottendorf is a postal partner and enables customers to easily process postal and financial services on site. The entire BILLA PLUS store is barrier-free. There are 80 car parking spaces and electric charging points in front of the store. Sustainability measures taken include the photovoltaic system on the roof, which provides energy for the store, and the cooperation with Too Good To Go.
