BILLA supports thrilling final day of the girls' indoor football championship

BILLA supported this year's Vienna Schools Indoor Cup as one of the main sponsors with a clear commitment to promoting youth sport in Austria. The girls' grand final day took place yesterday at the Westside Soccer Arena in the 14th district. Eight teams played exciting matches until Polgargymnasium clearly prevailed against Ella Lingens Gymnasium in the final with 7:0 and took home the winner's trophy. Between the games, the teams were given plenty of goodie bags from BILLA to keep them going.

Eight teams battled it out in the Westside Soccer Arena for the title of this year's Vienna Schools Indoor Football Championship, until the Polgarstraße grammar school came out on top.

Stefan Weinlich, BILLA Sales Director: "After the great success of the boys' Masters final day, we were keen to support the girls' final day in the same way. As a food retailer, we are proud not only to be close to our customers, but also to actively support young sporting talent. By supporting the indoor championships, we were able to introduce many children to the joy of exercise and teamwork and we are already looking forward to continuing the programme next year."

Tomorrow's talents in action

FC Nürnberg), Marlene Billwein (LASK Linz), Nicole Ojukwu (SC Freiburg) and Jeannine Großkopf (FK Austria Wien).
