BILLA responds to inflation: Price offensive brings back discount stickers for everyone and launches with a 5% discount on 1,000 clever products

Inflation is currently affecting everyone. BILLA has therefore put together a package of measures to provide consistent relief for customers: from 25 September 2025, discount stickers will be available again for everyone – regardless of whether they are jö members. To kick off this price offensive, there will also be a 30% sticker on the most expensive item and a 5% sticker on the most expensive product from the own brands clever or BILLA immer gut for two weeks. Furthermore, from 25 September to 8 October, BILLA will reduce the prices of around 1,000 clever products by 5%.

How the BILLA price offensive works

From 25 September, BILLA and BILLA PLUS flyers will include a sticker sheet with eight physical discount stickers, each of which can be redeemed once during the specified period – without jö membership. All discount stickers must be affixed to receive the discounts directly at the checkout in BILLA, BILLA PLUS and BILLA Corso stores. As usual, there is another sticker sheet for BILLA PLUS purchases. Customers receive the discount stickers regularly in the flyer and in selected daily newspapers. A jö membership continues to pay off in any case: app users and members benefit from numerous advantages and offers.

This is how we are providing noticeable financial relief. In times of rising inflation, we are launching our biggest price offensive for the people in our country.’

BILLA takes a clear stance against inflation

Changes must also be made at EU level to support consumers in Austria. From the food retailer's point of view, targeted measures are needed quickly to counteract the ‘Austria surcharge’ and create fair conditions. BILLA expressly welcomes the fact that the federal government has taken action in this area. In addition to providing relief for customers, BILLA is also taking action within its own company and supporting young talent in particular. Although the incomes of apprentices at the REWE Group in Austria, which includes BILLA and BILLA PLUS, have been above average for many years, they have recently been raised significantly once again. Since September, both existing and new apprentices have been receiving between 120 and 270 euros more per month, depending on their year of apprenticeship.
