Top Marks for BILLA Online Shop in ÖGVS Test

The BILLA Online Shop has once again been awarded the top spot in the annual study conducted by the Austrian Society for Consumer Studies (ÖGVS), which evaluates domestic online supermarkets based on delivery service, product range, pricing and conditions, convenience, and customer service. The result: BILLA Online Shop met the criteria best overall, securing first place.

For the sixth time, the BILLA Online Shop has been named Austria’s best grocery delivery service.
The wide variety of products, competitive prices, and excellent telephone customer service were particularly convincing.

It achieved top rankings particularly in the areas of product range, pricing, and customer service.

Customers can place orders via the BILLA website or mobile app, take advantage of jö loyalty benefits, and redeem promotions. Deliveries are made directly to homes in and around Vienna. Additionally, with the Click & Collect option, customers can pick up their orders at selected BILLA and BILLA Plus stores. Until November 30, customers also benefit from free delivery on their BILLA Online Shop orders.

About the Online Supermarket Study

In September 2025, the ÖGVS conducted its national “Online Supermarkets” study, testing five grocery delivery services. The study included expert analyses of pricing and conditions, product range, and ordering convenience, as well as test orders and evaluations of telephone customer service. The study is entirely self-initiated and conducted independently, without involvement from the companies evaluated.
