Lots of fun and action: 2,500 spectators cheered enthusiastically

Futsal, the FIFA-recognised variant of indoor football, is characterised by a smaller, low-bounce ball, flying substitutions and no boards. This dynamic form of the game provided a total of 116 hours of exciting matches during the cup. Around 2,500 spectators watched the tournament at the two venues in the BSZ Tulln gym and the Welser Halle Tulln. Around 250 supervisors were on hand to ensure that everything ran smoothly.

Stephan Böhm, chairman of FC Tulln: "Our philosophy of putting the players at the centre has proven itself. We want to create experiences for young footballers – that was and is our motivation. We are thrilled that BILLA has recognised our passion for this cause and is providing us with significant support in organising the event. With BILLA as our partner, it is possible to take the event to a higher, even more exciting level."
