Flexible in any weather: Digital advertising at BILLA impresses with an innovative update

In about half of all BILLA and BILLA PLUS stores, customers are welcomed by digital advertising displays at the entrance. The 65-inch screens, due to their prominent placement, reach approximately 5 million contacts per week and are already used by numerous companies for their messages. Now, they are receiving a special update: So-called “Weather Targeted Display Ads” allow for a completely new adaptation of product advertising to the current weather situation.

The advantages of weather targeting are clear: The advertising subjects benefit from current embedding and address customer needs even better. A more precise personalized approach is possible. At the same time, the BILLA team ensures a quick and uncomplicated integration into existing systems according to the wishes of the business customers.

Diverse advertising opportunities within the BILLA family

With numerous screens in the stores, accompanied by the jö.live radio, Austria's largest monthly magazine “Frisch gekocht,” and a strong online presence through the BILLA online shop, the grocery retailer BILLA offers extensive advertising opportunities for companies. The advertising displays in the entrance areas have been part of this colorful bouquet since 2023. For these, just a six-second video is enough to effectively spread advertising messages.
