Supply Chain Due Diligence
Our complaints procedure under the Supply Chain Due Diligence Act (LkSG) guarantees a process that is both trustworthy and transparent in dealing with complaints about violations of human rights or environmental obligations.

Act on Supply Chain Due Diligence Obligations (LkSG)
By submitting a complaint to the LkSG, you can raise concerns about potential human rights or environmental risks or violations of legal obligations – such as forced labour, child labour, discrimination, or the harmful contamination of soil, water and air, as well as harmful noise pollution and excessive water consumption – that relate to the REWE GROUP, its supply chains or its employees. Human rights violations or breaches of environmental obligations cause significant harm not only to the REWE GROUP but also to society as a whole. Reports of human rights violations, environmental risks or breaches of obligations may be submitted by employees as well as members of the public.
Submitting a complaint
Complaints regarding potential human rights violations and environmental risks or breaches of duty can be submitted very easily online via the REWE GROUP Hintbox – anonymously if desired. In addition, the digital complaints platform facilitates smooth, data-protection-compliant communication between whistleblowers and the relevant departments within the REWE GROUP. Anyone wishing to submit a complaint regarding human rights violations or breaches of environmental obligations without using a digital tool may also still contact the REWE GROUP’s ombudsperson.
Customer complaints, including those regarding the quality of the REWE GROUP’s products and services or the service provided within stores or travel agencies, are not regarded as complaints relating to human rights or environmental risks or breaches of our duty of care. In such cases, please contact the customer service departments and hotlines associated with the relevant company or brand.
We explicitly encourage employees and external parties to bring any suspected human rights violations, environmental risks or breaches of duty to our attention. Whistleblowers should not be disadvantaged as a result of lodging complaints within the context of their employment. The complaints procedure operates according to a defined process, as set out in the Rules of Procedure. Impartiality is guaranteed at all times; those involved in the procedure act independently of any instructions and are bound by a duty of confidentiality.
